Montenegro remained the only country in Europe where no cases of COVID-19 coronavirus infection had yet been registered. This was stated by Igor Galić, an epidemiologist at the Institute of Public Health of Montenegro.
According to him, Montenegrin authorities are prepared for the possible detection of the coronavirus. At the moment, 392 residents of the country remain under observation.
“Coronavirus testing takes two to three hours, so the results become known quite quickly,” Galić added.According to the latest data, 126,631 cases of COVID-19 infection have been confirmed worldwide, and 4,638 patients have died. As reported byLenta.tu, the majority of infections and deaths are in mainland China, with Italy ranking second in terms of the number of cases and fatalities.
