According to the latest data from the National Tourism Organization of Montenegro (NTO), as of the end of July there are 140,000 registered tourists in the country, whichis ten times morethan during the same period in 2020.
The datawas commented onby Minister of Economic Development Jakov Milatović. According to him, the largest number of tourists is in the coastal city of Budva — 47,000, or nine times more than in 2020.
“Ulcinj follows with 30,000, which is 12 times more than last year. There are about 27,000 tourists in Herceg Novi, which is nine times more than last year, 15,000 in Bar (also 9 times more), about 9,000 in Kotor (12 times more), and about 8,000 in Tivat (nine times more),” Milatović stated.
