The Institute of Public Health of Montenegro has confirmed 78 new coronavirus cases. The total number of active cases is 1,522.
“In the past 24 hours, 375 samples were analyzed. Since June, the total number of confirmed deaths has been 16. The total number of recoveries currently stands at 42,” the Institute said.The Mayor of Podgorica did not rule out closing the city if the active increase in the number of COVID-19 patients continues. At present, there are 242 COVID-19 cases per 100,000 residents in the country. Number of new cases in Montenegrin cities: Podgorica - 595 Rožaje - 221 Bijelo Polje - 152 Berane - 81 Nikšić - 72 Budva - 64 Pljevlja - 59 Cetinje - 56 Bar - 55 Kotor - 52 Tivat - 29 Herceg Novi - 28 Ulcinj - 18 Gusinje - 17 Petnjica - 11 Danilovgrad - 9 Tuzi, Andrijevica and Žabljak - 1 each.
