A new four-lane highway will be built in 2 years. Its length is 20 km. The cost of the works is estimated at 24 million euros.
Construction of the highway will begin in October from the Komanski Bridge, on the outskirts of Podgorica.
The road will be built by the Montenegrin company Bemax. It won the tender conducted under the supervision of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
In addition to Bemax, two other companies submitted bids — the Albanian Gjikuria Construction and China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation. They offered to implement the project for 27 and 28 million euros, respectively.
