It was previously plannedthat the hotel, the central feature of the Portonovi complex, would open on July 1. Construction work on the site is ongoing. The restrictive measures did not affect the production processes.
The hotel will feature 113 rooms with spacious living areas, panoramic windows, terraces, and fireplaces. Guests will have access to a sandy beach, a marina with 238 berths, the Espace Chenot Health Wellness Spa, a helipad, as well as various boutiques and shops.
Several restaurants will open in the complex. Among them are Sabia, headed by the famous chef Giorgio Locatelli, and Tapasake Club with Asian cuisine.
The total investment in the project is estimated at EUR 1 billion. The Portonovi area covers 26 hectares.
The developer is Azmont Investments. It was founded by the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan, which won the tender for the development of the coastal site in 2012. Construction work in Kumbor began in 2016.Source.
