The average price per square meter of housing in new developments decreased compared to 2019. In the second quarter of this year, it amounted to 1,000 euros, which was 17.1% lower than last year and 6.4% higher than in the first quarter of 2020. This was reported by the Statistical Office of Montenegro.
The average price per square meter of a new apartment in Podgorica was 974 euros, on the coast — 1,229 euros, in the central region — 669 euros, and in the northern region — 845 euros.
It should be noted that the average price per square meter was affected by the presence of social housing.
