Members of parliament from the Social Democrats (SD) party have submitted to parliament a bill amending the Law on Social and Child Protection, which provides for an increase in the amount of child allowance from 35% to 60%.
He reminds that in Montenegro, around 14,000 children receive child allowance every month.
He also added that implementing this law requires additional budget funds of around 2.5 million euros per year. In 2020, a total of more than 4.5 million euros was paid out in child allowance.
