The aquarium is planned to open in May next year in Kotor, on the premises of the Institute of Marine Biology.
The planned area of the aquarium is 300 sq. m. Its inhabitants will include fish, dolphins, sea turtles, and other representatives of the underwater world living in Montenegrin waters of the Adriatic Sea.
The investment is estimated at €1.1 million. The Government of Norway has provided a grant for the project’s implementation, local media reported earlier.
