According to the Employment Service of Montenegro (ZZZCG), the country’s unemployment rate has declined: at the end of April 2022, there were 50.55 thousandunemployedpeople, which is 5.3 percent less than in March of the same year.
According to the service’s monthly report, the unemployment rate fell from 23.02 percent to 21.79 percent. The highest figure, 32.7 percent, was recorded in July 2000, and the lowest — in August 2009, 10.1 percent.
From the beginning of the year through the end of April, 5.58 thousand people were registered. And from the beginning of the year through the end of last month, 10.68 thousand vacancies were announced.
