If last year the government allocated 44 million euros for road projects, this year it has already allocated 45 million euros, the Ministry of Transport and Maritime Affairs of Montenegro said.
Among the priorities is the reconstruction of the Tivat–Jaz road, 16 km long. The cost of the works is estimated at 26 million euros. The project is financed by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. The works will begin next year.
The ministry also plans to reconstruct the Kamenovo–Petrovac–Bar highway, 23.3 km long. The project cost is 22 million euros.
17.2 million euros will be allocated for the modernization of the Barski Most–Dobrakovo–Bijelo Polje road. Sections totaling 14.3 km will be repaired.
