The European Mobility Week will take place from September 16 to 22 inTivat. This year’s theme is the safety of walking and cycling.
On Monday, September 16, a round table will be held. Its topic is encouraging the use of solar energy in vehicles.
On Tuesday, September 17, a “street day” will be organized. It is dedicated to promoting environmental, social, cultural, and recreational activities. On this day, the city’s main street will be closed for two hours.
On Wednesday, September 18, an eco-camp will take place. In addition, primary school students will be able to visit the protected natural resources of Ulcinj Salina and the Mozura wind farm.
The “Everyone on a Catamaran” campaign will take place on Thursday, September 19. All interested participants will be offered a free ride on a solar-powered boat operating from Tivat.
The following day, cycling competitions and themed workshops will be held on II Dalmatinska Street from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
To support hiking, a hike will be organized on Saturday, September 21. Route: Gornja Lastva – St. Vid – Gornja Lastva.
On September 22, the whole world will celebrate International Car-Free Day. In Tivat, a women’s cycling race will be held that day. Cyclists will ride along the Pine Promenade – Donja Lastva – Pine Promenade route. The race distance is 5 km.
