The Ministry of Health of Montenegro has introduced 7new quarantine measuresfor the New Year and Christmas holidays.
7 New Year and Christmas measures in Montenegro. Valid until January 11, 2021:
Curfew from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. At the same time, the curfewhas been liftedon the night of December 24–25 and on the nights of January 5–6 and 6–7.
Supermarkets, shopping centers, stores, beauty salons, hairdressers, etc. are open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Restaurants are open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. However, they will be closed on December 24, 25, 30 and 31, 2020, as well as on January 1, 2, 6, 7 and 8, 2021.
Movement between municipalities is prohibited from 10:00 p.m. on Friday to 5:00 a.m. on Monday (weekends only). The ban on movement on public holidayshas been lifted.
Mass gatherings, as well as gatherings in residential buildings, are prohibited.
Gathering outdoors in groups of more than four adults is prohibited.
Playgrounds will be closed.
Hotels:
Restaurants in hotels on December 24, 25, 30, and 31, 2020, as well as on January 1, 2, 6, 7, and 8, 2021, are open only for guests from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. After 4:00 p.m., only room service is allowed.
On the above dates, swimming pools and spas, as well as entertainment and music programs, are prohibited. Outside these dates, music programs are allowed from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
It is prohibited to rent cottages, apartments, and other residential premises to more than two guests, except for members of the same family.
Ski resorts:
A mandatory 2-meter distance in lift queues.
Wearing a mask or a ski hat covering the nose and mouth is mandatory.
On the cable car, only one person may be in a cabin, and two people in a six-person cabin. Members of the same family may occupy the cabin fully.
We remind you that with an airline ticket to and from the airport, you may travel even during the curfew.
Also, for all tourists entering Montenegro,
it is mandatory to have
a negative PCR test no older than 72 hours.Data on new COVID-19 cases:
Over the past 24 hours, 258 new infections were recorded, while 580 people recovered from coronavirus. In addition, seven people died from coronavirus. The list of the deceased today included patients from Podgorica – 2, Bar – 2, Berane – 1, Plužine – 1, and Kotor – 1.
There are currently 8,830 active cases, i.e. 1,401 cases per 100,000 people. The total number of infections since the start of the pandemic in March is 44,542.
