The Ministry of Education is constantly working to improve conditions in Montenegrin schools. During the winter break alone, which will last until January 27, it invested 850,000 euros in the infrastructure of 24 schools across the country, said ministry secretary Omer Mehmedović.
In addition to construction work related to new schools in Montenegro, reconstruction work is also being carried out in existing schools, Mehmedović told the newspaperDnevne Novine.
“Since there are around 600 educational institutions in Montenegro, it is perfectly clear how much investment is needed to maintain this infrastructure. Of course, we always try to allocate the budget as efficiently as possible. And we can do that only by setting clear priorities,” the secretary noted.
