US President Joseph Biden said that he strongly supports the continuation of the process of accession of Western Balkan countries tothe European Union(EU), according to a statement on the White House website.
It is stated that during a phone call with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen about the Western Balkans, Biden also reaffirmed support for the EU, a key partner of the United States.
The American president welcomed the renewed cooperation between the US and the EU on the pandemic and efforts to address the climate crisis ahead of the summit in Glasgow at the end of October,Tanjugreports.
