Montenegro is the most advanced candidate countryfor membership in the European Union(EU), German Chancellor Angela Merkel said at a working lunch with Prime Minister Zdravko Krivokapić and the leaders of the Western Balkan countries in Tirana.
According tothepress service of the Government of Montenegro, the main topic of the meeting was regional cooperation and ways to improve it.
Krivokapić thanked Chancellor Merkel for the recognition she gave Montenegro, as well as for recognizing the reforms and the European course of the new government.
