The National Coordination Body (NCB) for Infectious Diseases has introduced new quarantine measures. The NCB has decided to reduce the opening hours of shops, cafes, and restaurants. Business hours are being shortened by two hours, and the curfew period is extended by the same amount of time.
Shops will operate from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The curfew will now be in effect from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. the following day. The measures will apply from November 25 to December 8. In addition, all previous measures remain in forceall previous measures.
The National Coordination Body for Infectious Diseases calls on citizens to fully comply with all measures, because this is the only way to contain the spread of the coronavirus.
“Given the current situation, our healthcare system, thanks to good planning, timely action, the experience and sacrifices of healthcare workers, is still able to withstand the pandemic, despite the worrying level of infection,” the NCB said in a statement.
