Public kindergartens in Montenegro will begin operating on Thursday, June 4, while private kindergartens have already resumed work on June 1.
“Kindergartens are making final preparations for the safe return of children: preparing premises, as well as purchasing and distributing disinfectants,” the Ministry of Education said.
Preschool institutions are required to follow the recommendations of the Institute of Public Health of Montenegro. Staff must disinfect hands and treat surfaces touched by children and educators.
Parents, in turn, are required to measure the child’s temperature. If it is high or the child has fever attacks, they must stay at home.
At the same time, only one parent may accompany one child to kindergarten. At the entrance, children will wash their hands.
