From April 10 to 16, new quarantine measures are in force in Montenegro. The new measures affect travel rules across all municipalities, and movement is now allowed. All parks, recreation areas, and sports facilities are also open. Measures have been eased in Ulcinj, Bijelo Polje, Cetinje, and Bar. In these municipalities, shopping centers and gyms are open. The remaining measures remain unchanged:
- Store opening hours are from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
- Curfew is in effect from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. Exception: walking pets, but for no more than 60 minutes per day.
- It is forbidden to leave your municipality on weekends.
- Excursions, live music performances, children’s playrooms, Ferris wheels, and amusement parks are allowed.
- Educational institutions will resume regular operations on April 12.
- Cruise ships are allowed to enter ports.
- Wearing masks outdoors and indoors is mandatory.
Important:residents of the municipalities of Nikšić and Šavnik are prohibited from leaving their municipality without a valid reason.
Rules for entering Montenegro
Entry into Montenegro is allowed with a PCR test no older than 48 hours, or with a positive IgG antibody test no older than 30 days, or with proof of vaccination with a second dose administered at least seven days before entry into Montenegro. These rules do not apply to arrivals from Serbia, Kosovo, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Albania.
Over the past 24 hours, 232 new coronavirus infections were registered. 376 patients recovered. 11 people died. The total number of currently active COVID-19 cases in Montenegro is 4,526.
Vaccination in Montenegro
At present in Montenegrovaccinatedmore than 35 thousand people have received one dose of the vaccine and almost 7 thousand have received two doses. This is more than 6% of the country’s total population.
