It is expected that foreign companies will invest 1.5 billion euros in Montenegro by 2022. This was announced by representatives of the Council for Foreign Investors. They also reminded that they had initiated many processes to improve the business environment.
“We have started negotiations on forming a digital coalition, taking into account the fact that the digital transformation of business processes in Montenegro is key to improving the business environment. Therefore, the adoption of the Digital Transformation Strategy is of particular importance,” the Council explained.
When asked whether they expected changes in the business environment, they replied that the new government was facing many challenges.
“We expect the government to continue improving the business environment and implementing structural reforms,” they noted.
The Council of Foreign Investors participates in the work of the Competitiveness Council as the main advisory body in the field of improving the business environment.
“Business environment reforms in Montenegro must be implemented more efficiently in order to create a favorable business climate and enable the entire Montenegrin economy to develop and recover faster,” the Council believes.
