The Commission for the Protection of Citizens from Coronavirus, at the proposal of the Institute of Public Health of Montenegro, has changed the quarantine measures. Now, in addition to Budva and Tivat, it is forbidden to leave the following municipalities: Podgorica, Cetinje, Ulcinj, Herceg Novi, Nikšić, and Plužine.
At the same time, restaurants are reopening in Danilovgrad, Bar, and Tuzi.
The changes to the quarantine measures take effect on March 1.The remaining measuresremain unchanged.
Over the past 24 hours, 13 people have died from the consequences of coronavirus. The oldest among them was 84 years old. During the same period, 449 new cases were registered. 484 patients recovered. The total number of currently active COVID-19 cases in Montenegro is 8,558, which is 1,358 per 100,000 inhabitants.
Since the beginning of the epidemic (March 2020), the total number of registered COVID-19 cases in Montenegro is 76,283.
