The International Monetary Fund forecasts thatMontenegro’s economywill grow by six percent in 2022.
“Growth recovery is expected in 2021 and 2022 at 12% and 6%, respectively, driven primarily by the normalization of tourism,”the new International Monetary Fund (IMF) report on Montenegro says.
“A strong growth momentum is expected to continue in 2022, but output is expected to remain below the pre-pandemic trend in the medium term,” the report saysIMF.
The IMF says the epidemic hit the economy hard, but an active recovery is underway.
