In Podgorica, the sports festival “Let’s Go to the Morača” (Ajmo na Moraču) will open on August 2 at 6:00 p.m. The festival will feature games, entertainment, and treats.
Authorities invite residents and visitors of Podgorica to the “Sastavci” beach, at the mouth of the Ribnica where it flows into the Morača. The aim of the festival is to preserve the tradition of summer recreation on the banks of the rivers that run through the Montenegrin capital.
Visitors will be able to take part in beach volleyball, table tennis, darts, and chess competitions. An entertainment program is also planned. As tradition has it, all guests will be treated to watermelons.
The sports festival “Let’s Go to the Morača” will take place every weekend until August 25, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
