The average price per square meter of a new-build apartment in Montenegro in the second quarter of 2021 (April, May and June) amounted to 1,242 euros, according to the statistical officeMonstat.
In the same period of 2020, the price was 1,119 euros per square meter. That means that over the yearthe average price per square meterin a new-build apartment increased by 123 euros, or 11 percent. The price is now higher compared to the same quarter of 2019, when the average apartment price per square meter was 1,206 euros.
In Podgorica, a year ago the average price per square meter of an apartment in a new-build project under commercial conditions was 1,153 euros, and now it is 1,236 euros, which is 7 percent more. On the coast, the price per square meter in the same category rose from 1,229 to 1,298 euros, or by 5 percent.
