Following the recommendation of the Institute of Public Health, the start of the new school year in Montenegro has been postponed to October 1. According to the Ministry of Education, this decision will also apply to kindergartens.
Recall that earlier the Ministry of Educationstatedthat the start of the school year was set for September 1.
The decision to postpone the start of the new school year was made solely in order to protect children’s health, following consultations with representatives of the relevant institutions — the Ministry of Health, the Institute of Public Health, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Economy, and the Institute of Education.
