The Government of Montenegro has adopted new epidemiological measures that will be in force from September 25 to October 8. This was announced at theyesterday’s press conferenceby the Director of the Institute of Public Health, Igor Galić. Some of the measures in effect from today are that up to 50 people will be allowed to attend weddings and celebrations, provided they have COVID certificates, live music is permitted indoors, and as of October 9, entry to supermarkets and hypermarkets will be allowed only with a vaccination certificate.
Here are the measures that apply from today:
- The national digital vaccination certificate is issuedimmediately after the second dose of the vaccineand is valid from that moment. There is no longer a need to wait 14 days after fullvaccination.
- In addition to entry to shopping centers and indoor hospitality venues, the national digital vaccination certificate is required for entry to:
- business centers;
- administrative buildings in which more than three businesses operate;
- facilities engaged in the sale of non-food products with an area exceeding 1,000 square meters.
Owners, visitors, and managers of these facilities are obliged to monitor compliance and appoint a person responsible for enforcing these measures.
- The number of people present at weddings and other private celebrations organized in hospitality venues, with a national digital vaccination certificate, is limited to 50. This also applies if the ceremony is held on a terrace, in a garden, or inside a hospitality venue.
- Live music is allowed indoors in hospitality venues, provided that all employees, musicians, and guests have a national digital vaccination certificate.
We remind you that the national digital vaccination certificate is valid only if at least one of the following conditions is met:
1) the person has been fully vaccinated, regardless of how many days have passed since revaccination;
2) a negative PCR test no older than 72 hours, or a positive test taken at least 14 and no more than 180 days ago;
3) a negative rapid antigen test no older than 48 hours.
The aboveconditionsare not required for the following categories:
- Children under 18.
- All travelers who have spent the last 15 days in one of these countries: Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Albania, and North Macedonia.
