At a press conference, Health Minister Jelena Borovinić Bojovićannouncednew measures that will be in force next week:
– the border may be crossed with an EU COVID certificate;
– fitness centers and gyms are allowed to operate;
– it is recommended that classes in schools begin on January 31.
She noted that the measures adopted so farhaveproduced results.
Borovinić Bojović also pointed out that the new measures will be in effect for the next seven days (January 13–19), and the most important change compared with the previous measures concerns the conditions for crossing Montenegro’s borders.
New measures and entry rules for Montenegro
“In the next seven days, borders may be crossed only if at least one of the four conditions of the EU digital COVID certificate is met:
– if a person is fully vaccinated with the prescribed number of doses of the coronavirus vaccine and more than six months have passed since receiving the last dose;
– a negative PCR test for SARS-CoV-2 no older than 72 hours;
– a negative rapid antigen test no older than 48 hours;
– proof that the person has recovered from COVID-19 (at least 10 days and no more than six months have passed since a positive PCR or rapid antigen test result),” the minister explained.
