Yesterday, the Director of the Institute of Public Health, Igor Galić, spoke at a press conference. He announced new quarantine measures that come into force on February 11 and will remain in effect for the next 15 days.
New quarantine measures in force throughout the country:
- Restaurants, cafes and shops are open from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
- Curfew from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. Exception: walking pets, but for no more than 60 minutes a day.
- Intercity travel is prohibited on weekends.
- Excursions, live music performances, and children’s playrooms are prohibited.
New quarantine measures for Budva and Tivat:
- Restaurants, cafes, shopping centers, non-food stores, hair salons, gyms and hotels are prohibited from operating.
- It is forbidden to go to the beach or walk in parks, squares, and so on.
- Kindergartens and schools are moving to online learning.
- Outdoor and indoor gatherings are prohibited.
- Children’s playgrounds and outdoor gyms are closed.
- Intercity travel is prohibited,including on weekdays and weekends.
Police will carry out enhanced checks on mask-wearing outdoors.
New rules for entry into Montenegro
A mandatory PCR test no older than 72 hours is requiredfor entryfrom the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland, Israel, India, Bahrain, Lebanon, South Africa, Brazil, the USA, Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania, Malta, France, Spain, Portugal, the Netherlands, Ireland, Belgium, Denmark, and the Czech Republic.
