The Government of Montenegropresentednew entry rules for Montenegro in 2022.
1. The traveler must be fully vaccinated with the prescribed numberof vaccine doses, and no more than 6 months must have passed since the last dose was administered.
2. Proof that the person has had COVID-19 and that at least 10 days and no more than 180 days have passed since the positive test result was received.
For both of these categories, a PCR test no older than 72 hours or a rapid antigen test no older than 48 hours is also required.
The exception applies to Montenegrin citizens and holders of temporary or permanent residence permits. They may enter without the above-mentioned documents, but must self-isolate for 10 days. The self-isolation period can be reduced to three days after receiving negative PCR test results in Montenegro.
