Ural Airlines had planned to launch regular flights from Russia to Montenegro. However, this morning the airline announced that it had canceled the flight. By that time, passengers had already gone through security and checked in their luggage. In addition, tourists were asked to present a PCR test no older than 72 hours or take one on site. As a reminder, Montenegrohas canceled PCR testsfor citizens of Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, as well as Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Kosovo, Albania, Croatia, and North Macedonia. Visas for visiting Montenegro are alsonot required.
The landing of the Ural Airlines plane was scheduled for today at 12:00.
As of today, citizens of the Russian Federation can reach Montenegro via a connection in Belgrade, and from April 30 –via a connection in Minsk.In both cases, Russians also do not need a visa.
The launch of direct flights from Russia to Montenegro has been postponed to June 2021.
