Figures have been announced for the lowest and highest average salaries in the region.
Average salarybefore taxes and contributions in Montenegro in September amounted to 533 euros. By sector, the highest salaries were earned by employees in the financial sector — 976 euros — and the energy sector — 933 euros, while the lowest salaries were earned by employees in the administrative sector and services — 368 euros, and in manufacturing — 379 euros.
This means that the difference between the highest and lowest salaries was 608 euros. As for municipalities, the highest average salary in September was in Tivat — 617 euros, while the lowest was in Bijelo Polje — 439 euros, according to the latest data from the Statistical OfficeMONSTAT.
