By recommendation of the Institute of Public Health of Montenegro, the Ministry of Health has adopted new epidemiological measures that will be in force from tomorrow until April 30.
The ban on intercity travel on weekends throughout the countryremains in force. However, establishments may operate from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., both indoors and outdoors, on the terrace. No more than 4 people may sit at one table. Live music is allowed from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. In addition, due to the improvement in the epidemiological situation in Nikšić, Mojkovac, Berane, and Kolašin, educational institutions in these municipalities will reopen next week.
Current epidemiological measures:
- Working hours of grocery stores and shopping centers are from 07:00 to 22:00.
- Working hours of cafes and restaurants are from 07:00 to 23:00. No more than 4 people per table.
- Curfew from 00:00 to 5:00. Exception: walking pets, but for no more than 60 minutes per day.
- It is forbidden to leave your municipality without a valid reason on weekends.
- Live music performances are allowed from 18:00 to 21:00.
- Children’s playrooms, amusement parks, gyms, and similar facilities are open.
- Cruise ships are allowed to enter ports.
- Wearing masks outdoors and indoors is mandatory.
Entry rules for Montenegro
Citizens of Montenegro and tourists from Russia,Belarus, Ukraine, and North Macedonia are allowed to enter Montenegro without a PCR test for coronavirus, as well as without a positive IgG antibody test or a vaccination certificate.
These rules also apply to those entering from Serbia, Kosovo, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Albania.
