From Friday, new restrictive measures will be introduced in Podgorica, Cetinje, Budva, and Ulcinj. Namely, hospitality venues will be closed, and only members of one family will be allowed to stay inside a residential unit. This was announced by the Institute of Public Health.
According to the new list, Bar, Berane, Nikšić, Mojkovac, Kotor, Bijelo Polje, Pljevlja, and Andrijevica will move to Group 2. In these municipalities, the working hours of hospitality venues will be limited until 10:00 p.m. In addition, a maximum of two people may sit at one table, both indoors and outdoors. It is also mandatory to maintain a distance of at least one meter from chair to chair when people are seated at tables and turned with their backs to each other.
The measures will come into force at midnight on November 6 and will remain in effect for 14 days. Recall that at the end of September, the Institute of Public Health introduced a “traffic light system.” It is based on the number of cases per 100,000 inhabitants.
Restrictive measures depending on the number of cases over the past 14 days:
Below 400:
No changes. However, strict compliance with protocols and strict monitoring of the implementation of the current epidemiological measures will continue.
Between 400 and 799:
10:00 p.m. is the closing time for venues. A maximum of two people may sit at one table (indoors and on the terrace). Chairs must be placed at least one meter apart.
Between 800 and 1,199:
Ban on the operation of restaurants and cafes, including hotel restaurants. Only members of one family are allowed inside a residential unit.
Above 1,200:
People will be prohibited from leaving their residential units from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (with some exceptions). Citizens who care for wheelchair users, as well as people who are unable to carry out everyday activities independently due to illness (must be confirmed by a medical certificate), and pets, are allowed outside for no more than 60 minutes per day.
At the same time, the ban on the operation of restaurants and cafes, including hotel restaurants, remains in force. Only members of one family are allowed inside a residential unit.
