Already at the beginning of May, small and medium-sized businesses may resume operations in Montenegro, and in the second half of the month, catering and service establishments. Marinas for receiving all vessels will also be opened. This was announced to representatives of the tourism industry by Montenegro’s Prime Minister Duško Marković.
We want to preserve every job in the tourism sector. The government will help workers directly. Tourism is not just a sector, but a powerful market instrument for our economic and currency stability. Therefore, we will place this at the forefront of our economic measures and will soon come up with a solution on how to support the preservation of our companies and entrepreneurs in tourism, as well as jobs, by allocating around five million euros from the budget,” Marković said.
