According toMonstat, the average net salary in Montenegro in February 2022 was 706 euros, while the gross salary was 875 euros.
According to these data, the average net earnings for February increased by 2.9% compared to the previous month, and by 33.5% compared to the same month last year.
“If we take into account that consumerpricesin February 2022, compared to January 2022, recorded an increase of 1.5%, it follows that real wages for the same period recorded growth of 1.4%,” Monstat said.
According to more detailed data, only in three municipalities was the salary in February above the average: in Tivat — 869 euros, Podgorica — 741 euros, and Pljevlja — 712 euros.
In all other municipalities, February salaries were below the national average.
In Bijelo Polje, the average net salary for February was 607 euros, Gusinje — 612, Andrijevica — 616, Mojkovac — 617, Tuzi — 619, Plav — 656, Plužine — 657, Rožaje — 621, Danilovgrad — 622, Šavnik — 635, Herceg Novi — 661, Berane — 662, Nikšić — 674, Kolašin — 676, Žabljak — 679, Bar — 682, Budva — 683.
In Kotor, the average salary in February was 700 euros, and in Cetinje — 701 euros.
