In January 2020, the inflow of foreign investment into the national economy amounted to €50.5 million — 14.5% less than a year earlier. Capital outflow was recorded at €8.4 million, according to the country’s Central Bank.
Investors from the US and Russia lead in investments in Montenegro’s economy, with €8.5 million and €3.7 million respectively. The UK ranks third with €3.3 million.
