Current infection rates
There are 354 patients in Montenegrin hospitals due to Covid-19 infection or its consequences. This is about eight percent fewer than two weeks earlier, said the Director of the Clinical Center of Montenegro, Ljiljana Radulović.
“The largest number of patients is in our Clinical Center. At the moment, we are treating 126 patients. Eighty percent of them are unvaccinated. Our hospital data confirm all global scientific studies showing that immunization in most cases protects against the development of the most severe clinical pictures,” Radulović said.
At present, Montenegro has more than 375,000 doses of vaccines. Of these: Sinopharm — about 250,000, Pfizer — more than 80,000, Sputnik V — 40,000, and AstraZeneca — about 5,000.
