Real estate in Montenegro continues to attract strong interest, but there are not enough listings, representatives of real estate agencies toldPobjeda. According to them, prices forapartments in Podgoricahave risen by 13–15%, while in coastal municipalities they have increased by 20–25%. They do not expect further price growth, and some predict that after stagnation there will be a decline.
The owner of Zetagradnja, Blagota Radović, expects a decline in investment in the housing sector, as well as in demand for apartments in the near future.
The executive director of the real estate agency Montenegro Prospect, Ivan Dašić, expects property prices on the coast to stagnate and then fall.
He says that prices per square meter in theBay of Kotorrange from €2,500 to €3,000, while by the sea and in the Old Town ofKotorthey reach €4,000.
In Budvathe average price is €2,300, apartments inBarrange from €1,200 to €1,800 for new builds, and inHerceg Novithe average is €2,000,” Dašić уточняет.
