At present, the most expensivefuelin the Balkan region is in Croatia, while drivers in Hungary pay the least, where gasoline and diesel prices are far lower than in all neighboring countries.
In addition to Croatia, fuel is more expensive than in Serbia in Romania, Montenegro, and Slovenia.
In Serbia, drivers will have to pay a maximum of 202.2 dinars per liter (€1.72) for Eurodiesel, and 184 dinars per liter (€1.56) for BMB 95 gasoline over the next seven days.
Drivers in Croatia pay €1.79 per liter for gasoline and €1.88 per liter for diesel. Although diesel in Croatia became slightly cheaper a few days ago compared with the previous week, gasoline prices jumped.
Slovenians have to pay €1.63 per liter for gasoline and €1.68 per liter for diesel. In Bulgaria, gasoline costs €1.54 and diesel €1.63 per liter, while in Romania gasoline costs €1.61 and diesel €1.75.
The cheapest fuel in the neighborhood, as well as in the European Union, is in Hungary, where a liter of gasoline costs €1.24 and diesel €1.39.Gasoline in Montenegrocosts €1.7, and diesel fuel €1.72.
