Turkish Airlineswill increasethe number of flights from Istanbul to Podgorica and Tivat after signing a Memorandum of Understanding withAir Montenegroat the Eastern Mediterranean International Tourism and Travel Exhibition (EMITT) in Istanbul.
The purpose of the signed agreement, as reported by ExYu Aviation News, is to enable Turkish Airlines and Air Montenegro “to achieve common goals in providing air transport services between the two countries by strengthening mutual commercial cooperation.”
As a result, starting June 2, Turkish Airlines will increase the frequency of flights between Istanbul and Tivat from three to five per week, and from June 5 an additional rotation to Podgorica will be added, for a total of twelve flights per week.
The new contract will also allow Air Montenegro to increase the number of flights to Turkey.
