Montenegro’s borders are open to all tourists from Russia with a negative COVID-19 PCR test, a vaccination certificate, or proof of antibodies. These conditions were announced by Ivana Đurović, State Secretary for Tourism at Montenegro’s Ministry of Economic Development, the Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR) reported.
However, according to her, tourists vaccinated against coronavirus will be even luckier. They will not have to take another PCR test for coronavirus upon arrival in the country. At the same time, Đurović believes that there will be no price increases in Montenegro’s hotels during the 2021 season.
In Montenegro, before the start of the tourist season, which begins in June, it is planned to vaccinate 70–75% of the population, including with the help of the Russian Sputnik V vaccine.
Let us recall that air service between Russia and Montenegro has been suspended since March 2020. It is planned to resume flights between the two countries in 1.5 months.
