On April 5, mass vaccination began in Montenegro. At the moment, the Vaxzevria vaccine is being used (former nameAstraZeneca).Vaccination is available to all citizens of Montenegro, as well as to persons holding a residence permit (temporary or permanent residence permit).
The vaccine can be obtained in the building of the Music Center in Podgorica. Chairs have been placed outside so people do not have to stand in line; at the entrance, temperatures are checked and hands are sanitized. Then documents (residence permit) are checked, and people are directed to a doctor who asks about their condition, allergies, and any recent illnesses. After vaccination, they are asked to sit on a chair for 15 minutes, and they are given a document stating when they should come for the second dose.
Vaccination is free and is carried out from 8:00 to 20:00 on a first-come, first-served basis. It is expected that after April 20, it will also be possible to get vaccinated in other cities in Montenegro.
