At present in Montenegro, a liter of BMB 98 costs 1.62 euros, BMB 95 — 1.58 euros, and Eurodiesel — 1.45 euros.
The increase infuel pricesin Montenegro may be resolved by the adoption of the Excise Law by the Parliament of Montenegro, which would allow fuel excise duties to be reduced. Due to the current political events in the country, the Vice President of the Parliament of Montenegro, Strahinja Bulajić, will not schedule a parliamentary session. We remind you that since last week, a proposal has been in parliamentary procedureto amendthe excise law, the adoption of which could reduce the excise duty by 20%. Previously, a similar law was submitted to the SD Assembly, which calls for a 25 percent reduction in excise duties on fuel, and the SDP has been proposing excise reductions for many years.
Prices are also rising in other cities across Europe. In Paris, Frankfurt, and London, many drivers are already paying two euros or more per liter of fuel, which is unprecedented and is a consequence of the war in Ukraine, which has caused a sharp rise in oil prices.
