Montenegro’s total foreign trade in the first three months amounted to EUR 846.6 million, which is 58.9% more than in the same period of 2021, Monstat reports.Monstat.
“Import coverage by exportsamounted to 30.7 percent, up from the same period last year, when it stood at 21.5 percent,” the statement said.
In the export structure, mineral fuels and lubricants were the most represented, worth EUR 69.7 million, of which electricity accounted for EUR 66.2 million, and others.
In the import structure, products by materials were the most represented, worth EUR 132.8 million, including non-ferrous metals worth EUR 29.6 million and non-metallic mineral products worth EUR 26 million, and others.
The largest foreign trade partners in exports were Switzerland with EUR 40.2 million, Serbia with EUR 34.4 million, and Bosnia and Herzegovina with EUR 28.7 million.
The largest foreign trade partners in imports were Serbia with EUR 112.5 million, China with EUR 65.5 million, and Germany with EUR 53.8 million.
