Property rental prices in Montenegro have risen by 50 percent due to higher demand since the start of the special military operation in Ukraine, while property sale prices are increasing because of rising construction material costs, reportsRTCG.
The Chamber of Commerce of Montenegro says that a significant jump in prices for all construction materials, influenced by market disruptions, has led toan increase in apartment prices.
On the other hand, as they explained, citizens who have money want to protect its value from obvious inflation by buying real estate, so there has been increased demand for property in recent months.
However, agencies say that Ukrainians are renting, but not buying property. This has significantly increased apartment rental prices in Montenegro by up to 50 percent.
