Preliminary results on potential oil deposits during exploratorydrilling on the Montenegrin shelf, being carried out by the Eni and Novatek consortium, may be known at the end of September, said the State Secretary of the Commission for Energy and Mineral Resources at the Ministry of Capital Investments, Marko Perunović.
Perunović said that the Eni and Novatek consortium, which began its first exploratory drilling in the sea between Bar and Ulcinj in March 2021, is making successful progress in this effort.
“At this point, 4.7 thousand meters of the well have been drilled,”saidPerunović during a working breakfast with journalists.
