A 100-bed hotel will be built by the CG Ski consortium, which has signed a long-term land lease agreement with the Montenegrin government. Under the terms of the agreement, construction of the complex must begin by the end of the year.
The five-star hotel in Žabljak will become part of The Chedi network. The group already operates one hotel in Montenegro, on the Luštica Peninsula. The group also includes luxury properties in Bali (Indonesia), Vietnam, Oman, and Switzerland.
The hotel will be located on the site of the former Mediteran military sanatorium. The project is estimated at 5.5 million euros.
