According to the data presented at the government session, the municipalities of Montenegro received a total of 1.63 million euros as payment for unlegalized structures.
According to the same data, 913 decisions on the legalization of structures have been issued in Montenegro, out of 51,000 submitted requests. More than 38,000 requests have been processed.
The number of legalization decisions by municipalities: Nikšić – 253, Bijelo Polje – 104, Podgorica – 76, Tuzi – 77, Tivat – 41, Žabljak – 31, Šavnik – 2, Rožaje – 47, Plužine – 26, Pljevlja – 8, Plav – 5, Mojkovac – 17, Kotor – 22, Kolašin – 15, Gusinje – 36, Danilovgrad – 64, Cetinje – 39, Budva – 14, Berane – 10, Andrijevica – 26.
The legalization procedure involves meeting a number of requirements in accordance with the project documentation. The funds collected during the legalization process will be invested in the construction of missing infrastructure and public-interest facilities in the areas where the structures were built illegally.
The ultimate goal is to improve the quality of life of residents and make the area more orderly.
