The cleanest beaches in Montenegro
Montenegro’s coastline is dotted with dozens of beaches for every taste — from wide sandy stretches to secluded pebble coves. Many of them receive the prestigious “Blue Flag” award year after year for water cleanliness and the high quality of their infrastructure.
Beach holidays and prices
A beach holiday in Montenegro can be arranged on any budget, but it is important to understand the pricing policy of local beach clubs in advance. The cost of a set of two sun loungers and an umbrella starts from 15-20 euros per day on less popular beaches. On average along the coast, especially on the popular beaches of the Budva Riviera, the price ranges from 30-50 euros.
However, at premium resorts and beach clubs the cost can be significantly higher. For example, at Portonovi Beach Club the price for a set in the front row in high season can reach 200 euros. In exclusive places such as Dukley Gardens, rental prices also start from 100 euros.
It is important to note that many high-end venues operate on a deposit system: the amount paid for entry and sun loungers can be fully spent on food and drinks at the beach bar or restaurant. So always check the terms before settling in for the day.

Horseback rides: In several places, including the north and the area around Lake Skadar, horseback rides are organized along scenic routes.

Podgorica: The capital offers the best selection. In the shopping centers BIG Fashion and City Mall many international brands are represented. We also recommend stopping by the small craft store LOFT DESIGN STORE and buying yourself a cute handmade souvenir from Montenegro;
Budva: There is the TQ Plaza TQ Plaza and Mega Mall. You can also find multi-brand stores here Mix&Match and Fashion&Friends, perfumery Bar-kod. In the Old Town — plenty of souvenir and jewelry shops.
Tivat remains the main destination for premium shopping in Montenegro, especially with the opening of the new district Boka Place in Porto Montenegro. Here you will already find stores such as Pinko, MaxMara, Celine, BVLGARI, Heidi Klein, Liu Jo, Fashion&Friends, BOSS, Polo, Sport Vision, Beosport, Belodore Parfum, L'occitane, Body Shop, as well as Kicks&Heelz, Manor Living and many others.

Ready-made itineraries across Montenegro from 5 to 14 days
Montenegro is a country of amazing diversity, capable of giving unforgettable impressions to any traveler; the main thing is to plan the route correctly according to your interests and time.
For trips of 5-7 days
If you have 5-7 days, it is best to focus on one region so you can experience it without rushing: the classic choice is the Bay of Kotor combined with the Budva Riviera, which will let you combine historical sights, sea trips and beach отдых.
If you have 10-14 days
For a longer trip of 10-14 days you have the opportunity to make a “grand tour”: after spending a week on the coast, set aside 3-4 days for a trip to the north, to the Durmitor or Prokletije national parks, to see a completely different, wild and majestic Montenegro.
For beach lovers
For those who are exclusively beach lovers it is worth settling on the Budva Riviera, choosing between lively Budva, family-friendly Bečići and Rafailovići, or cozy Petrovac, and making trips to different beaches along the coast.
For active travelers
For active travelers the route is obvious: the north of the country with its endless opportunities for hiking, rafting on the Tara and canyoning, and on the coast — kayaking, SUP boarding and hiking trails in the Lovćen and Vrmac mountains.
For families with children
For families with children resorts with developed infrastructure and convenient beaches are ideal, such as Petrovac with its “Health Trail” or Bečići with its wide promenade, and for entertainment — an easy walk around Black Lake or a cable car ride up Lovćen.
For those without a car
Traveling without a car is possible, but it requires planning: it is best to base yourself in a large city like Budva or Kotor, from where it is convenient to get to neighboring towns by bus and book organized excursions to visit national parks or Lake Skadar, sacrificing freedom of movement but not impressions.

Why choose Montenegro
So, we have traveled through five worlds, each of which revealed its own unique side of Montenegro to us. From the Venetian elegance of the Bay of Kotor to the pulsating life of the Budva Riviera; from the primal power of Durmitor to the bohemian spirit of the southern coast.
This country is not a place for haste and tourist “checkmarks.” Its true beauty and depth are revealed only to those who are ready to accept its rhythm, its philosophy of “polako.” Slow down to see how the setting sun paints the mountains purple. Stop to drink a cup of strong coffee with a local resident. Turn off the main road to find a hidden “konoba” or a deserted beach. Montenegro generously rewards the curious and unhurried. It enchants, surprises, and makes you want only one thing — to come back here again.
