According to a study by the World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC), among all European countries, Montenegro’s economy depends the most ontourism.
According to these data, tourism accounts for 30.8% of Montenegro’s GDP. Close behind Montenegro in terms of the share of the tourism sector in GDP are Croatia with 24.8% and Iceland with 21.4%.
Russia’s economy depends the least on tourism — five percent, Poland’s — 4.8 percent, and in last place is Ireland with 4.2 percent.
