The German discount chain Lidl will build a central warehouse and logistics center for BiH (Bosnia and Herzegovina) and Montenegro, namely in Kiseljak, in central Bosnia.
According to the mayor of the Kiseljak municipality, Mladen Mišurić Ramljak, Lidl is making major investments in this town, where three other companies have also bought land.
Lidl is in the process of entering the Balkan markets
At present, Lidl is in the process of entering the markets of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, and North Macedonia. The opening dates are not yet known, although for Montenegro it was announced at the end of this year, which definitely will not happen.
However, Lidl has had problems finding a location in Montenegro for its distribution and logistics center. So far, they have bought only three locations for its supermarkets through a local company — one in Nikšić and two in Podgorica.
